¿Cómo tener éxito en la clase de español?
 
Objective: Given a basic vocabulary and grammatical structures, the student is offered the opportunity to be:
• An effective reader of Spanish.
• An effective writer of Spanish.
• An effective speaker/presenter/performer of selected topics.
• An effective problem solver when decoding grammar and comparing cultures.
• An effective information seeker.
 
World Language Content Standards:
 
1.       Students will communicate in a foreign language while demonstrating a high quality of language use in all four essential skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
2.       Students will acquire and use knowledge of other cultures while developing foreign language skills.

¿Cómo formular la tarea para la clase de español?
(Underline and Center Title of Assignment)
 
            You must write the heading above exactly on every homework assignment, in-class assignment, or quiz that you hand in; otherwise you will receive no credit. When writing an assignment by hand, please write clearly and legibly. If you choose to type an assignment, format your document with Times New Roman 12pt font, double-spaced (heading is single-spaced), with 1-inch margins.
 
Periodically, you will be given an index sheet detailing the homework assignments and class agenda for the upcoming weeks. You must have these documents in your notebook at all times.
 
Specifics:
1.       For small assignments (e.g. writing sentences, translations) begin the assignment directly after you write the title of the assignment.
2.       Organize your work, be sure to number correctly and complete different parts of an assignment in order.
3.       Staple multiple pages.
4.       Write out both questions and answers!
5.       Follow all directions of the assignment, the vast majority of the work you will be doing in this class must be   written in Spanish!
